How to Measure Your Feet: The Expert Guide

Setup (The Base)

Tape the paper to the floor against the wall. Place your foot on it, heel firmly against the wall. Stand straight with your weight balanced.

Tracing (Precision)

Ask a friend to trace the outline or do it yourself. Important: Keep the pen completely vertical (90°). Do not tilt it, or you will lose essential millimeters. Mark the tip of the longest toe.

Measuring (The Result)

Remove your foot. Draw a line parallel to the wall edge to the furthest point you marked. Measure this distance with your ruler in cm.

Width (The Secret)

Measure the widest part of your foot (at the bunion joint). This helps determine if you need a Wide or Narrow fit.

💡 Expert Tips

  • 🕒 When? Always measure at the end of the day. Feet swell and can gain up to 5mm!
  • 🦶 Which foot? Both! Always keep the measurement of the larger foot.
  • ➕ Room to move: Our converter usually adds the necessary room, but check brand notes.
